Augustus “Auggie” Nakajima is one of IO Fox’s two assistants at Vulpine Dynamics, with Joel Castillo. A red, black, and white Shiba Inu, he is the shortest of the three and usually the one making the joke.
He comes from a prestigious family and calls himself the team’s “personality hire” and comic relief. Vulpine actually hired him because he is a prodigy, which he would rather nobody brought up. Away from the lab he wears baggy hoodies and sweatpants, and his ear piercings are a deliberate choice. Around the company he is known for being on first-name terms with everyone, and for getting things done through people rather than paperwork.
Since September he has lived with the rest of IO’s research team away from the lab (see Chapter 6 - The Return).
